JupiterReign
special guest of Big Boi
JupiterReign is an award-winning R&B artist hailing from the vibrant community of North Preston, Nova Scotia. With roots in gospel and soul and a sound steeped in modern R&B, her music blends silky vocals with raw emotional storytelling, painting vivid scenes of love, longing, healing, and self-discovery. She first made waves with her breakout E.P, Intergalactic, in 2023, and then her 2024 single In A Rush, a slow-burning anthem that earned her Single of the Year at the 2024 African Nova Scotian Music Awards (ANSMA) and has since accumulated over 9,000 streams independently. As an artist deeply in tune with the emotional pulse of her listeners, JupiterReign transforms vulnerability into power—crafting songs that feel both personal and universal.
2025 marks a new chapter for the rising star with the upcoming release of her debut album, Jupiter’s Dreams (June 2025), a genre-blending project that solidifies her celestial brand and introspective artistry. Singles like Wait 4 You and All Mine have already generated buzz for their sensual yet soulful tone, and her work is frequently compared to the likes of Summer Walker, Kehlani, and SZA. The album is a culmination of years spent building her voice, her brand, and her fan base, while navigating the independent music industry with passion and precision.
In addition to her music, JupiterReign (also known as Thaydra Gray) recently made her theatrical debut in Neptune Theatre’s production of Little Shop of Horrors, proving her versatility as both a singer and performer. Her presence has graced showcases at Music Nova Scotia Week and the international music festival New Skool Rules in Rotterdam, features in The Coast, Halifax Public Libraries, and CBC Music, and collaborations with local creatives across the region. With her eyes set on festival stages, sync opportunities, and national expansion, JupiterReign is not just a rising star—she’s a whole galaxy in motion.
