MEDIA INQUIRIES

Media Pass applications for our 40th Festival will open spring of 2026.

TD Halifax Jazz Festival does not guarantee a media pass for every request.

• Media passes are for media only, including those that represent publications such as newspapers, radio stations, television stations, blogs and websites.

• Media must be courteous of festival staff, volunteers and artists.

• To ensure eligibility media must be covering specific shows.

• All interview and media requests must be made in advance.

• Passes are identified by name of media and specific show being covered.

• Video cameras are approved on a very limited basis.

• Photographers may not use flashes during festival shows, and are permitted to shoot only during the first three songs of any performance unless otherwise noted.
