The Mingus Project

Bassist Tom Easley, leads an all-star cast of local musicians playing the music of legendary bassist and composer Charles Mingus. The septet pays tribute to the enigmatic artist, playing many of his most familiar tunes, to his eclectic cuts from his deep catalogue. Featuring Chris Mitchell, Kenji Omae, Mike Murley -Saxes, Danny Martin- Trombone, Dave Staples - Piano, Tom Roach - Drums, and Tom Easley on Bass.
