Take part in Splash! Bang! Boom! music workshops for kids on Theodore Tugboat!

Theodore is located next to the Ferry Terminal on the Halifax Waterfront. Please note the workshop is conducted as Theodore sails, so be sure to come early to board. One sail per day. There is no pre-registration; space is limited to first come first served. Take part in Splash! Bang! Boom!, music workshops for kids on Theodore Tugboat as we sail around the harbour.

JULY 11 - 13  I  TWO SAILS: 10AM + 11AM I  FREE

THURSDAY, JULY 11 - ROSS BURNS - Let the Theodore escort your little ones around the Halifax Harbour while the lively, entertaining and talented musician Ross Burns shows everyone on board some basic rhythms using simple percussion instruments.

FRIDAY, JULY 12 - MATT GALLANT - Matthew Gallant has been playing drums and percussion for 25 years. As a musician in Halifax, he has worked with many great artists including Erin Costelo, Amilia Curran, Ben Caplan, Adam Baldwin, Dave Sampson, Krasnogorsk and The Brood. Matthew is a session musician, independent artist, music instructor at Long & McQuade, Dartmouth.

SATURDAY, JULY 13 - SIOBHAN MARTIN - Siobhan Martin is a freelance keyboardist and piano teacher in the HRM. She has played with notable artists such as Joel Plaskett, Tara Priya and Mo Kenney. You can catch her playing with Loveland, Owen Meany’s Batting Stance, Leanne Hoffman and her main project The Brood on the regular. She has always had a love for teaching and sharing her passion of music with others!
