Take part in Splash! Bang! Boom! music workshops for kids on the Tall Ship Silva!

Tall Ship Silva is located behind the iconic 'wave' statue, and the Visitors Information Centre, 1655 Lower Water St, Halifax. Please note the workshop is conducted as the Tall Ship Silva sails, so be sure to come early to board. One sail per day. There is no pre-registration; space is limited to first come first served.Take part in Splash! Bang! Boom!, music workshops for kids on Tallship Silva as we sail around the harbour.

JULY 12 - 14  I  10:00 A.M. - 10:45 A.M.  I  FREE

THURSDAY, JULY 12 INTI GONZALEZ - Inti Gonzalez is a performer with many years of experience in African, Cuban and Brazilian percussion. In this workshop, he will be guiding musicians of all skill levels in answering the question “what is groove?” and sharing his knowledge of percussion instruments.

FRIDAY, JULY 13 BIANCA PALMER - Sail around the harbour on the Tall Ship Silva and learn rhythms and grooves with dynamic local drummer, and kidmagnet Bianca Palmer. She is passionate about bringing music-making to people young and old.

SATURDAY, JULY 14 ROSS BURNS - Let the Tall Ship Silva escort your little ones around the Halifax Harbour while the lively, entertaining and talented musician Ross Burns shows everyone on board some basic rhythms using simple percussion instruments.
